I do this too. It is a life saver. I had to set a specific one aside because once you call it a "garbage bowl" you just cant use it for mixing no matter how many times you wash it. But just buy a regular plastic bowl for this, no need to buy Rachel Ray version.

Nooooooooo!!!! One thing does not follow the other. I do all the grocery shopping, and all the cooking, and I clean while cooking to minimize fuss. It is only fair that someone else washes the dishes when we are done eating.

This is not universal. Where I am we say hockey and ice hockey interchangeably. Usually adding the ice part to distinguish it from roller hockey. Tunafish and tuna I hear interchanged a lot.

Okay Cracker Barrel is only in the south, west and mid west. Its essentially southern and I am sorry its awesome. Especially since Cracker Barrel is not Midwestern in any sense. Cracker Barrel sprung into being about 20 minutes from my home. Lebanon TN. It is classically southern. Although I do not rule out the idea that they may have Midwestern centric dishes on those Midwestern menus.
