Thanks. That's one of the big common mistakes as far as I'm concerned.

30,000 volts would probably go right through most gloves with no problem.
They tried to kill it. Thankfully, some smart people pushed it through.
For god's sake, if you can't figure out how to have both form and function, the one to skip is form damn it. It just doesn't matter to anyone how pretty your product is if no one can use it.
Yep. I was wrong. It never would have happened with Steve alive though. Steve thought that the best thing he could do for his shareholders would be to make Apple the best company it could possibly be. Giving cash to shareholders does nothing to make Apple a better company. I fully approve of the stock buyback portion…
Apple has never paid dividends when Steve was at the helm; not when the company was doing poorly or when the company was doing great. Steve didn't believe in them.
OWED?
I don't understand. What's wrong with CIWS? That's what CIWS was designed for and it's been working well for decades. I'm not trying to be snarky here, I really don't get it. Is there something extra special about this missile? Ultra-low altitude to evade radar? Is it so super fast that CIWS can't shoot it down?
First of all, I live in a state that doesn't believe in that bullshit where all servers make minimum wage AND tips. Of course, that's not really relevant to the conversation here...
Or that they know that settling would be less expensive than litigating...
But, code isn't art. You can make a new never-before-seen "tool" with code. If you could design and build a brand new tool using a block of marble and sculpter's tools, you would patent it when you were done to protect your invention. Art is never made to help you accomplish a task.
Except now it doesn't stand up on its own.
And I thought Oregon was good with Boring, OR; and Drain, OR. (And Sisters, and Brothers, and Failing, and Liberal, and...)
Except it's only "cheaper" because it's subsidized heavily by OUR tax dollars. Corn syrup is more expensive to produce, but the federal government covers that price difference and more with subsidies. If we stopped giving corn farmers our money every year, or at least gave similar amounts to cane farmers and sugar…
Yeah, that picture leading this article? The one with the bar graphs that you're complaining about? It says "Graphics Performance" right across the top of it...
Because running barefoot on city streets hurts for western adults who wear shoes all their lives. These are basically "shoes" that look like bare feet.
So what? What does that have to do with the iMac including a second hard drive bay? How is having a second hard drive bay in the iMac a "step backwards" for Apple? What you're saying makes no sense.
Only slightly off topic, while I know that the F-35 is intended to replace even the A-10, it seems ill suited to that particular task. (Don't misunderstand, I love the F-35, I'm just saying that maybe the A-10 is a better tank-buster than the F-35.)
I don't understand your comment in any way. Many desktop machines have a spare bay for additional hard drive; what's wrong with Apple having a second hard drive bay in their consumer desktop?
It won't fuck with the layout at all. They'll do it exactly like they did the iPhone 4 retina display. Exactly twice as many pixels tall and exactly twice as many pixels wide. That way, there's no scaling. Stuff optimized for the old screen takes up exactly four pixels on the screen for every one pixel in the image.
