Clearly. Of course, he always preferred the two man cons...

Except, for those of us who weren't paying attention, this violin was not a counterfeit. Next time try reading a little more carefully.

For budget + quality I completely agree that Grado are the way to go. For in-ear, I vote Etymotic.

Buy something that has Grado written on it. They have headphones in just about every price range made in the United States. You will not regret the purchase.

My bad. Still, you still have cheap chinese DAC and amplification components plus the background noise of being on the slopes. 128k vbr vs 320k will make no difference.

It was a round trip from Oregon. My buddy had some family business in AZ. We had to make a stop in Las Vegas on the way home.

An audiophile is going to be listening to shitty headphones that come BUILT IN to a stupid knit cap? And, while skiing, that audiophile is going to be able to tell the difference between 128k vbr mp3 and anything else? We are not talking about listening at home with my Sennheisers or my Grados, but on a ski slope with

Um, photographs?

If you go with that old rough math of 1mb per minute for 128k music, that's 2000 minutes of music. Do you need more than that for a day on the slopes? again, this isn't intended to replace your primary music player.

Hah! I've been there! This last summer a friend of mine and I were driving from Arizona to Oregon via Las Vegas and we stopped at this very gas station/convenience store/brothel museum/brothel/area 51 souvenir shop. I got a tank of gas, a bottle of water, and an area 51 t-shirt.

Yes, all of this exactly. This may look like a clever oven, but it's just about the worst possible design I can think of.

Again, I WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT THE PERSON IN THE PICTURE. I was just saying it would be hawt to see a girl in a bar wearing this sweatshirt. I made similar comments last summer when Gizmodo showed the R2D2 bathing suit. I'm a geek; hell, even my avatar and username come from a comic book. I think geek girls are sexy.

I wasn't talking about the model wearing the sweatshirt.

I've been single for more than a year now, and the last year (alone) was way better than the previous 13 years I spent involved with relationships with 3 different women varying in length from 18 months to 7 years. I'm soooooo happy I'm single now.

I second this motion.

That's THE classic punch recipe. And, it scales up or down nicely. I think this "Skipper" stuff is for 19 year olds whose parents are out of town or for people who wish they were still 19 with their parents out of town...

Something something something something 12-pack of Natty Ice something...

The whole thing is the "reactor," not just the part with the uranium pellets. The secondary loop is a part of the reactor.

It was linked recently from another article. I didn't even notice the date... :)

What's wrong with steam coming from the ship's reactor? That's exactly what the reactor does: make steam. That's the whole point of a pressurized water reactor.
