I loved the one where Shy Guy stood there as motionless as Luigi, effortlessly winning, then with two seconds on the clock he DASHED into the oncoming spike ball and lost just before the timer ran out.

What's president Obama doing on the OFC sign?
You and just about every person in this thread who has ever even remotely considered going into game design.
Well, the thing is, when the question becomes not what I want to play eventually, but which is more worth my time (Xenoblade, Skyward Sword, Dark Souls just to name three I'm currently in the middle of) the answer is a bit more obvious.
Well, Yellow was the first game I ever owned (came with my first console ever, the yellow Pikachu GBC. Best Christmas present ever, still.) and I did buy Crystal after G/S. But those are the only ones I've bought into. I didn't get Platinum and I don't recall there being a third entry in Ruby/Sapphire, unless it was…
To add to what Ghost said, you also have to take into account how often the games come out. There's a big difference between literally releasing a game every year, and releasing two at a time every few years. To count each individual game as its own thing just isn't fair in my opinion. It's the same game with a few…
No, he wants something that's not derivative of itself, consistently delivering basically the same game with a different story tied to it and somewhat improved multiplayer.
Why are you even posting here? You're wasting valuable time that should be spent playing Minish Cap!
Replace the drowning sound effect at the end with this and you're all set.
Sadly, dubstep is just what it reminded me of. I've heard a good few dubstep songs that are like this. Cool techno/electronic synth tunes and suddenly everything drops... and COMMENCE EAR RAPE!
Noooooo no no.
It was going good until about 2:30. :( Pinkie Pie, you ruined everything!
Region locking I can agree with. If they ever release a Daigasso! Band Bros. game on 3DS I will be faced with some really terrible choices, when importing would simply be so much easier an option if they didn't decide to region lock the damn thing.
When did I ever defend it?
See my last sentence.
Most humans only have two thumbs. Try controlling the d-pad, an analog stick, and the buttons on ANY controller at the same time. Unless you bring your index finger up to the face of the controller and start "claw"-ing it up, you won't be able to do more than two things with the face of the controller.
Pan down just a bit. There's controller porn right there.
I would take a look at it, but I'm afraid I don't have synesthesia. ;)
I personally love both. I can always go for either a Skyrim or a Metroid. A Mass Effect or a Tales game. I enjoy aspects of being able to choose how I play and inserting myself into a game world, but it can also be really enjoyable just to play through someone's story.
I'm again reminded why the heart icon there next to the reply button is red. :)
