"Where's Team Fortress 2's blowing stuff expert when you need him, huh?"

Does Xenoblade count? Though surely you of all people has already played that amazing game.

I like both, but magical fantasy almost always wins me over better than futuristic, techy stuff. Magic makes a lot of really interesting things possible and opens up the door to changing the rules of the world as you see fit. Sci-fi certainly has some similar possibilities opened up through the "magic" of futuristic

Fantasy encompasses sci-fi, so the quote is only so much better.

I've been using MMan for a long time. Since way back. Usually with a 111 or 222 tied to the end of it. I hated that name, because I came up with it on the spot way back for my Deviantart account and a few other online places, and I just stuck with it. The past 2 years or so I've been trying to move to Dreamsequence,

Add to that a visor/helmet that gives you full range of vision into the game world and surround audio right around your ears and you've got a hell of a package.

Absolutely this.

I'd love to see DA3 go for the hardcore crowd. ME really isn't all that tactical or more than twitch-based.

Why comment negatively like that without reading the article? It presents both the good and the bad in an open way, getting to the meat and bones of WHY the changes that were made took place and WHY they made the game fall flat. I think DA2 sounds like a load of steaming crap and really boring compared to the first,

This really seems like just another "make fun of JRPGs" JRPG made in a few days by some kid who just got RPG Maker VX. I'm pretty sure the art and probably music are all standard, default assets that come with the program. The battle system and stat progression, mapping features and everything are all right there in

It's not exactly hard to do.

I think I'll wait and buy the full release when it comes out.

Never seen Akira, but I saw it at Hastings and almost rented it on Blue Ray. Wife hasn't seen it either, but she didn't feel like watching something like that so she said no.

Sounds pretty nice, though I wonder about those tubes. They're basically creating a massive vacuum, so those tubes need to withstand whatever might happen to them. Say someone crashes a car into one or something. The next group of people to come through are either going to slow down fairly fast due to the loss of

They're both the same.

This so much...

Why isn't this featured in Snacktaku?

Isn't it the strangest thing?

I'm starting to get a bit scared, here. All they need to do is keep putting these through tests, letting them build up environmental navigation skills through adaptive programming (repeating physical movements with some variations and collecting data to figure out over time what motions made for better results, and

This would be a cool "particle" effect in a cel-shaded game, but I don't really see how it would be able to improve the graphical style of a whole game. The pulsating colors and such could make for some pretty neat effects, though they would only really be useful in very abstract games or specific situations.
