Well, neither did Lucas. The actors had an input on their characters, as did the other writers, the directors of the last two movies, the sound engineers, composers, the cinematographers, the guys working the lights, the special effects artist. Nothing is created in a vacuum.

I bought a decently powerful ThinkPad about 5 years ago when I started university, thinking I could use it for gaming and productivity. I got a good deal on it as my father worked for IBM at the time. Long story short, I got sick and tired of how heavy it was so a couple Christmases ago I bought a Acer Aspire One, set

Do you know if its possible to report posts on Kotaku? Because I'd really like to.

So, you say that you troll to get ahead. Lets say you were playing a 1 on 1 game with someone and they muted you/weren't responding. Do you give up and start a new match or try other tactics?

Well, I'm sure lots of people are. Caring about it is another thing. :P

Now playing

If you're after great graphics, you should check out iCEhancer. I'm having a little trouble setting it up, and I'm pretty sure you can't take it online, but it is definitely worth the time to set it up. I have it running currently and it looks amazing. I fucked up at some point and the game thinks it is pirated -

I love how Walt starts producing meth, kills multiple people, and threatens the life of his family, but Skyler is labeled as a bitch.

I fully agree, but it doesn't really help if I want to throw it on my phone to listen to on the subway.

The most recent version of the Xbox interface I found very unintuitive and just... bad in general. The huge ads everywhere were just one of the things I disliked about it. It has been one of the reasons I've started to transition into this glorious "master race" everyone is talking about.

Damnit, and to think I just bought Skyrim last week. It was a good price on Amazon. I suppose the Bethesda pack would still be worth getting, though. I would get a gift code for Skyrim, right?

If EA really wants to go all-digital I hope they at some point get Origin to a level where it, well, works...

I have no idea until we get to see what kind of software it runs.

Awesome placeholder desktop image as I amass my Frank Lloyd Wright background folder.

I'm thinking of making myself a gaming rig this summer, hopefully next month. I look to spend about 900 CAD on it. After discussing with some very helpful commenters on here, I came up with this preliminary list.

I bought the soundtrack before I saw the movie. With Metric, Beck and Broken Social scene, how could I not? It's been one of my favourite albums for a long time. Its like.. its like an awesome mix tape.

Woah, you mean radio stations play music where you're from? Here in Toronto its either DJ Drivel or commercials.

The first time I played fallout was at a freind's house and I knew I didn't have enough time to get very far in the game so, even though I could tell the game wanted me to go to Megaton, I didn't.

Thanks a lot for your help. I posted a preliminary parts list in reply to PyramidHeadcrab

Wow! I want to thank both you and Dragonfliet for your help with this, it was a lot of help. I've tried a couple times over the years to try and plan out a computer, but this is the first time I've not felt overwhelmed by it. Last night I put together a "first draft" of sorts. It has pretty much everything, minus the

Now, before anyone says "you should google it" I'd rather talk to people about it than just gather information.
