I think you are missing what I'm getting at. A highly graphically game can very well maintain great gameplay that creates fans of that game or franchise.

Amazon sometimes lets you decide between physical PC copy and digital copy. The games can't be traded/resold if the product is linked to an account, but the option is still there.
