Its expected that a brand new game should be different from the previous games so people are not paying money for the same thing. What is this, Call of Duty or Counterstrike?

Capcom gave a 3rd party developer the freedom to make a new game with how they portray a Devil May Cry game. It makes sense because Capcom has been doing the main Resident Evil games and people do nothing but complain anytime a new game gets released. Valve does the same thing with Counterstrike.

You really are a noob when it comes to video games. Equal playing field does not mean everyone starts the same way. Yes, Quake and Battlefield do share the same playing field that everyone but you knows by now. You need more experience in playing video games.

Then most people jailbreak and/or subscribe to 3rd party websites for hacks and cheats to unlock everything and speed level through the game. They get banned and then complain they are completely innocent who did nothing wrong spamming the game's official forums with clutter hoping to get the ban reversed.

Starting out the same basic loadout is NOT an equal playing field. The Quake playing field is seen like ANY Battlefield in existence.

Diablo has always been heavily focused on multiplayer since 2. All everyone wanted was multiplayer LAN so they can play anybody including pirates using some 3rd party program that is available now.
