It is still a fact. When someone dislikes a program, feature, or OS, they think it is evil and spread the news around to let people know. They don't realize it is their own opinion and forcing their opinion down on others.

Why do you have to hunt witches? You can simply move on with life ignoring those people just like you can move on with life ignoring "what people call horrible OS's not worth using."

There will be a time when piracy is going down. Anyone can say it will take years or months or days, but there is a countdown for it just like a lot of things that are deemed evil by pirates and hackers. TPB just better not get cocky like Apple.

Same situation as if you never seen/heard/done/played it before, you will be a noob at it.

Companies need time to figure it out. Everything can be fine before release and then problems happen. Problems can go unnoticed and slip into the release.
