Cavill is a huge fan of The Witcher series; on the other hand, and if the rumors are true, you had writers working for that show that hated the source material...
Maybe that made the decision easier...

This story is missing the really cool context: this episode all began with one Deviantart image by a Simpsons fan.
In a moment of weakness I jumped back in for a few weeks when a few of my friends were leaning on me to come back and I just don’t feel like HAVING to play on that schedule to be able to know what the fuck is going on and don’t have the option to find out after that in game.
Dumb of them and dumb of me to try to go…
Another shocking part of this is the idea that hospitals can not only withhold treatment, but also advise OTHER hospitals to withhold treatment, from patients.
Hospitals snitching out on women in pain just to keep them viable for child bearing. Sounds like something out of dystopian movie but this is the future if the GOP/Conservatives/MAGAs/Evangelicals/et al have their way.
The problem is even the cheaper cards are getting expensive. I bought a 1060 years ago, and it goes for just as much now; and the new cards are set to be far pricier. It’s not just the ceiling going up, it’s the floor too.
what im getting from this is that in order to see more behind the scenes footage of game development and a better understanding on how triple a games are produced, we need to generate takes so nightmarishly bad that developers will have no choice but to dunk on them
No, it’s because technology has improved to the point where games can run at smooth high frame rates so it’s more obvious when something is a lazy cash grab port like what Namco pulled here.
Framerate and input response are tied so framerate is a gameplay thing over a visual thing which is way more important to me.
I’m just going to put this out there, Square are not a good publisher. They really cannibalise their studios and have unrealistic performance expectations. They really don’t support their teams and with the exception of a handful of games they don’t seem to care about properties.
I laughed my head off over people complaining that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds was too ‘woke’.
Dude! Have you ever SEEN Star Trek?
This isn't the article people were bitching about Kotaku not making.
to everyone wondering where our post was: this was it. it took a while assembling all the responses from current and former kotaku dot com staffers but all that time gave us the room to honor fahey in the best way we knew how. i didn’t get to work with him long but his personality and wit were infectious. im bummed…
I’m a huge Tolkien fan. I’ve read The Silmarillion MULTIPLE times. I thrive on the old world first and second age stuff and I’m not mad at all. I really don’t get what these people are up in arms about.
On Galadriel being a badass warrior: EVERY elf from the first into the second age was a freakin’ badass. There were…
I hope Kotaku puts out a memoriam post for Mike Fahey. I’m sad that he passed. I realize all of these posts were probably scheduled before the break. But I’d like to leave a comment here to let people know of his passing. He was one of my favorite Kotaku contributors.
See you tomorrow at this site that you hate.
Not at all — but thanks for trying to push that narrative.
You can initiate Easy Mode by simply watching the whole game on Youtube. It basically plays itself.
Dude looking like the wish version of Homelander in this picture.
The ATB menu was intuitive for me. I don’t know what you mean by the menu being clumsy or the numbers thing. You choose and move on. SE even put in a memory choice where the cursor is on the last item you chose. I can understand not liking the menu because you’re an action junkie and want the action immediately but…
