I think it's worth noting that the level of sexual violence is higher in the first episode than it is in the rest. The majority of the show really isn't like that.
Hence I said "minor." In a situation where an entire industry is largely male dominated, would benefit from having more gender diversity, and is willing to support a more diverse environment, then gender may be worth looking at.
By "equally qualified," I was more implying that the applicants are comparably equivalent. Same talent, same experience, same pay.
