I'd like a codex, or some kind of museum in the Tower that explains some of the lore. The story is interesting but there's not much real plot outside of Ghost's commentary.

Does it actually get 40 mpg on gas? I remember that Hyundai had major issues with misreporting their fuel economy ratings?

Plus if you get sand/dirt/pine needles in it you can just hose out the interior.

Honda Element bro?

I've got an MKV Golf and I find that it strikes a good balance between fun and practicality. I don't quite understand the GTI vs. Fiesta ST comparison, the GTI is bigger vehicle and is more in the same league as the Focus ST.

I'd go with the Mk5, yes it is heavier than the Mk4 but the 2.5L inline five is a much more reliable engine than the older 1.8T.

I have no clue how much space is in the engine bay, but swapping the standard motor with one of Ford's 3-cylinder Ecoboost engines could make an old one less horrible.

The switch to the 2.5L with the MKV seems to have fixed some problems. So far MKV Golf hasn't given me any trouble. Although I might wait a couple years before looking at a MKVII

It doesn't look to be in too bad of a shape. For $1,950 there's still room for whatever body/engine/interior work you wanted to do. NP.

The TDI motors are usually pretty long-lived.

I learned in a '93 Toyota Pickup. It didn't have power steering and was base as base could be but with the stick it was really fun to drive.

It's not just price, but value for money. The Mk6 Jetta is a step down in build/ride quality from the Mk5 for about the same price. Plus the 2.5L 5 cylinder isn't exactly fuel efficient compared to the competition, I'm lucky if I get anywhere near 30 MPG in my Golf.

Or Traffic Jam Mode, if things get backed up on the highway putting the car in full auto and kicking back would be nice.

I had a '93 Toyota Pickup that had a pretty sturdy plastic dash. Wasn't anything fancy but it got the job done.

Thanks for the tip, I find those blue shop paper towels kind of soak up the stuff too.

I don't get the press obsession with squishy dash plastics. How often do you touch the dash?

Does VW still make the VR6 engine that they have powering this thing?

I support the idea of steam punk Freddy Mercury punching people with his mechanical arm.

Maybe an ATS Sport Wagon jacked up Audi Allroad style?

1993 Toyota Pickup. It had no power steering, no A/C, crank windows, 5 speed manual, and a vinyl bench seat.
