“Even if I primed the bump a bunch of times, there was a decent chance that my battery would die by the time fuel reached the engine.”

In North Carolina? Quite possibly.

King Midget?

Duly noted, keyboard warrior.

Apparently, since you can’t seem to shake this bad take of yours.

There’s video of a track drying truck sliding off a high banked turn at a whopping 30mph. On a car that relies on physical grip, it’s not happening.

Sure... but if you make your knuckles bleed opening a trunklid, reaching up, and giving a rubber knob a quarter turn counterclockwise, maybe you shouldn’t be working on cars.

It’s 34 years old, of course things will be out of adjustment. That’s a key word there... adjustment. The trunklid has rubber snubbers that look like they need to be turned out 1/4 turn, and the trim is mostly just adhered if it’s like my ‘84 used to be and can be heated up and shifted.

Where did you find the Pompeii-style pizza! I thought all the chefs were dead in the same eruption that burnt that god-awful abomination to a crisp....

Do you recognize the term “wide angle lens”? The entire world is bent based on these images.

It’s urethane, it doesn’t hold it’s shape like ABS.
It also doesn’t get brittle like ABS, but if you scratch it it’s bright yellow underneath...

So what he’s saying is there’s a more compact OHV aluminum block V8 in the high 4 or low 5 liter range being designed to function as both a standard engine and live with Hellcat style upgrades?

Another of Rulon’s sons, Wallace Jeffs (Rulon is rumored to have had over 65 children and was marrying teenager girls deep into his ’80s and ’90s) took over, and the company was renamed Western Precision, and then again to NewEra Manufacturing.”

Either Rulon is several hundred years old or there are erroneous

Yes, on a track less than half the length of previous, from a standing start, and with thick Florida air, and people present who would expose any shenanigans.

So... say one were to mix their own “meat salt” to have handy, predominantly actual salt but with appropriate amounts of bicarbonate, slightly more than sea salt levels of potassium/calcium/magnesium salts*, the briefest touch of MSG, and maybe some papain or other enzyme...

Sodium carbonate. Yes, washing soda... which is only a moderate step down from lye with regards to reactivity and alkalinity. Using too much will cause that brackish, soapy taste because it’s saponifying fats.

Washing soda will turn a small amount of your steak into soap.

I think it’s reasonable, it passes the 2/3 rule AND it’s an unusual import that doesn’t have import paperwork and shipping to handle. NP at negotiated $4000, right on the edge at 5500, all depending on the state of the rust.

I see what you did there, with the secret TOWGWOBOTODA message and.... uh... wait a minute...

This is the only spot where Dick gets any sympathy; he never had the chance to potentially turn away and redeem himself somehow, once the true nature of his associations became “Kristall” clear.

Of course, he also could have jumped in with both feet. We can’t know, and that’s how it should be treated.

This is fine, but helicopters have interaction modes with their own downwash and can suffer other ill effects... without getting into a few thousand words, I’ll just say I wouldn’t want to see anything that large with that much surface area slung under ANY rotorcraft.

You can lift it, but can you control it? Can you
