Not for a “common” vehicle, they have a history of limiting engine torque to protect transmissions. Boutique, medium duty, commercial? You should know what you’re doing, here, have all the torques.

Because the lower gearing and higher torque, probably. I don’t think Ford would put out a driveline combo where you could reliably/repeatedly select the lowest gear selections, floor it, and twist all the axles apart.

I have a feeling that this might have been due to the need for forward corner visibility thanks to the long wheelbase. A livery driver needs to see what the middle of the car is going to swing over and the dogleg pillar means it’s further back in the sightline, the driver won’t need to lean forward as much.
