@Attilla the Hoon: My dad restored one when I was little too. Learned how to drive stick on that thing.

I can drive a manual (I learned how on a Triumph TR6 and now have an MGB), but could never drive one to work every day, or while sitting in traffic all the time. I'm perfectly happy with my automatic Honda that I drive most days.

@Maxichamp: They probably couldn't even pump one out of the ground, they have armies of American and European workers helping them out.

@Sth002000: Yeah, not being smog exempt would be awful. This one is thankfully (Go Pennsylvania!), and the guy before me threw on some Racing Webers, new headers, electronic ignition, new stainless exhaust, and brand new seats and carpeting a few years ago.

This is excellent advice. I just bought a 1970 MGB for $4500. Way cooler than the Honda I drive around every day:

@Eteyos: You don't really understand how science works, do you?

@Gawd: I am ashamed that I know the people making out in the dumpster on that site....

I spent a week in the Keeweenaw recently and just have to say how awesome it was. If you go, check out the Gratiot river park: free , isolated camping on the shore of lake Superior. And yes, pasties are excellent.

@rcast1986: Yeah, well, they obviously used multiple phones (some were strapped to the bike, ect.). I don't know how much space the video takes up, just that it's not a huge issue that the phone doesn't have an SD card slot, as most people don't use them like this.

@RäcinG73™: Yeah, I'm just saying that all of your money is still going straight into the coffers of BP (or whichever giant company). It doesn't really count as boycotting BP, you are just boycotting the independent businessmen that own the stations (and giving to WalMart instead, which isn't much better than BP).

@onlysix: How would we drive all of our cars without oil? Jalopnik would have nothing to report on anymore!!

@jon_daniels: Can you link to a real source of news?

@Mrb00st: Agree with the 900. Have an 89 900 Turbo Cabrio... man that thing is fun. And cheap.

@rcast1986: 32 GB is a decent amount of storage...

@skulyk: Have you read Gizmodo lately?? There isn't anything I would call "iphone praise" going on anymore...

@milkplus: Can we just add OBX stickers? I swear, its like they slap them on at the factory or something...

Wow. You're clumsy. This is what passes for news now?

My dad had a 1974 Triumph TR6. Loved that thing, but I imagine he hated me learning how to drive a stick on it.

@atm0: Well, they are using two 27.6 foot mirrors on the ground, which is much larger than Hubble. So it sounds like they overcame much of the atmospheric distortion with adaptive optics, but of course, your right, if these two telescopes were up in space, they would be far clearer than this.
