As the owner of an MGB and a Fulvia, I think we are in agreement on this.

I got a Series 1 1.3 S a few months ago, amazing little car. That little engine loves to rev!

Ahh man, you can't worry about things like that! Get out there and drive the wheels off it! I just got a Lancia Fulvia, and I drive it 5-6 days a week, sometimes commuting through Houston traffic. Still a blast.

Hmm... cars earlier than 1956? Absolutely. I already drive two cars from the 60's most days of the week, and I can think of dozens of awesome cars I would gladly drive every day.

Even more Lancia goodness.

Yes! I just got a Series 1 a few weeks ago, great car, pure class. Valets park it up front and put all the 7 series and Mercs out back.

Now THIS is a crack pipe transam:

I don't get all the hate about the CRV... I've got one, and it's a plucky little donkey that has taken me across deserts, over mountains, through snowstorms, ect. yet doesn't break down constantly like my old Jeep. On the other hand, I have my MGB for days like the one in the commercial.

It's known as an alluvial fan, not vehicle tracks:

I went out and bought a 1970 MGB... when I was 26. Awesome quarter life crisis car, why lease something new? Keep whatever you drive now and get a nice old convertible.

@flavious27: Another Eastern Pennsylvanian here! I used to work at Jack Frost for a few winters when I was in high school.

My dad's TR6!

@JonZeke: I had that matchbox car!

@Bustedknuckles: I have seen people swap out rubber bumpers for chrome on an MGB, but it looks like a major hassle... better off just buying a chrome bumper one in the first place. Didn't know that about the spitfires... any idea about the TR6? I hate those weird triangles sticking out of the front bumper on my dad's

@foxtick: Do it! Seriously, throw caution to the wind and just buy one! I'm 26, still in school, and I used loan money to go buy an MGB, which was a great decision.

@tjanson: Wait, does it make me preppy that I was driving my MGB yesterday while wearing a tweed blazer and a cashmire scarf? Damnit!

@junior ghoul: They can do it in particle accelerators, it's just wildly impractical:

@Chuckie_A: If you click on each link, they have the selling price. All the cars estimates were really low, but the bikes seemed to sell for peanuts for some reason.

@dmckoltrane: I haven't, no. I just got it in August, I haven't taken it to any sort of cruise or show yet. Maybe next summer!
