I suspect that, from a game coding perspective, that’s a case of “simple, but not easy”. I think Blizzard will try to fix it, but at least some of the bug fixes over the next several patches will likely be traced back to the Ana bug.

Even the most pessimistic estimates still put WoW above it’s nearest rival, FFXIV, which has several times the subs as its nearest rivals. And other MMO’s have operated for years with a fraction of even WoW’s current subscriber base. Hell, SW:TOR just announced its next expansion. I doubt WoW will go another 10 years,…
