Check out http://dizzel.ogplanet.com/ for an upcoming Gears-esque shooter that's free-to-play on the PC. Beta starts in a few weeks!
Not a fan of the art. Subjectivity!
Ha! Just in case anyone doesn't get the joke, and thinks that I'm saying that a DDR2-based rig needs to be replaced ASAP, here is my reply: Actually, what I'm saying is that IF you are going to upgrade your rig, AND it's running DDR/DDR2 memory, THEN you'd be best off going for new processor + board + RAM .
Right now, the question is 'what type of RAM does my motherboard take"? If the answer is DDR2, you need new processor + board + RAM at least.
Who cares? This ain't the moon landing.
Um, that doesn't violate the 1st amendment. For more info, see http://xkcd.com/1357/
This is awesome for 3+ roommate situations. If there's just 2 of you, you can simplify it: Just keep bidding back & forth for the better room until one person won't beat the other's price.

Assuming you run the games through Steam, you should keep an eye on the whole Steam Box/SteamOS streaming thing. Apparently, you can have an inexpensive HTPC (Think $100 Apple TV hacked to run SteamOS) hooked up to your TV, which will stream high-quality visuals from your higher-specced PC.
You can just hit (Windows Key) + P to quickly change your primary monitor! It saves a lot of time.
... and that's why we use the Corsi to determine skater efficiency.
Who the fuck spends $700 on a hard drive? Moron.
Weird, I have Steam beta, and that's not true for me.
You don't *own* a free-to-play game, according to Valve. Steam doesn't save it in your library - you can notice this when you move between computers. The owners number is probably just a copy of the players number, because owners are probably listed as 0 for those games.
Still not sure how League of Legends, the most popular game in the world (and only available on PC), isn't on this list.
