I think if dlomax only has 1 gripe and that's a messy room, he did/doing a pretty good job. I'm kind of in the same boat. My kids a re AWESOME but are slobs with their rooms. I don't fight them very much on it because they excel in other areas of their adolescence.

Very true. In fact I would go as far as checking CITY rules and regs too. Here where I live (N. California) there is fireworks allowed in the city I live in but not the bigger city next to us. Then the city next to that one they are allowed.
