Just looking at a system’s install base is bad business. It doesn’t matter that 70 million 3DSes are out in the wild if 60 million of them are gathering dust in desks and closets, and the other 10 million are only used for Pokemon. Even if the Switch has only sold a fraction of what the 3DS has sold, what matters most…

As a developer... the concern is install base. You can only sell as many copies of a game as there are people to sell it to. While the Switch is exploding in popularity, it in no way, shape or form has the same install base yet as the 3DS. So smaller publishers have to consider that when they’re putting out new games.…

I think that’s dismissing Hotba’s versatility. He offers a competent Moira and Zen on top of his off-tanks and hitscans, while Poko rarely flexes off of off-tank. I think Poko is the better DVa, but you could comfortably credit Hotba with much of Philly’s success over the past few weeks.

xQc definitely overreacts at the outset but 31% crit accuracy is high enough that it’s fair to assume a player is hacking. xQc does not handle it well, something that shouldn’t be surprising considering his total lack of social skills, but the assumption at its core is reasonable if we’re just looking at the numbers.
