I found CS4 significantly faster because of its hardware acceleration of graphics rendering using the GPU. Look into it sometime.

It's an element designs case.
The cell networks were never shut down, nor were they ever ordered to be shut down according to official representatives from at&t, t-mobile, and sprint. The networks were just stressed past capacity. You should be spreading the message that persons in Boston should text from their mobiles instead of calling in order…
NEX is by far the best EVIL camera, particularly with that fancy new software that shows where your focal plane is.
It has to say "MacBook Pro" under the screen and have an apple logo on the back of the screen.
This post is factually incorrect. Your body is perfectly capable of using baroreceptors and solute concentration receptors in the JGA/MD to signal to the brain if/when you need to drink water. This is commonly known as thirst. First, your body will decrease the amount of water excreted in the urine by increasing…
I thought about it but my entire photography workflow is in OSX - along with all of the software I currently own. I have tried running OSX on a homebuilt desktop and it just isn't as smooth. On top of that, I just work faster in OSX and get pretty frustrated with the inconsistencies in the windows interface.
This has to be the best piece of advice I have read on lifehacker recently. I think this is one area that everyone can improve upon. I know that the biggest fights I have gotten in with close friends and significant others are over battles that were started for no particularly good reason before everyone involved…
I think a lot of people voted for the entire lineup of 5D models. I know I did. You can pick up a 5D classic for <$1000 used, the 5D2 for $1400 used, and a 5D3 for <$3000. You really can't beat getting a full frame sensor for <$1000. I would argue that the mkI and mkII are extremely similar in operation since they use…
There are, however, cameras that are better fits for any particular person's photography style. IE: D800 for portrait and landscape, D4/1Dx for all weather/bulletproof/pro/sports, etc.
The EVIL NEX series is phenomenal when you just slap a voigtlander pancake on the front and put the camera in your back pocket as a casual camera.
The sensor might be nearly as good, the center AF point is 1 stop more sensitive in most people's testing that I have read. However, these things don't make it "almost as good". Thats like saying that the 5DmkII is "almost as good" as the 1Ds mkIII, or the 5D3 is "almost as good" as the 1Dx. The overall capabilities…
The Sigma lenses, which I assume you are talking about since canon doesn't make an 85 1.4, have major quality control issues along with pretty terrible long term reliability. Recently the-digital-picture reported on the fact that sigma uses a coat of paint to avoid scraping metal off into the AF motor. Inevitably, the…
I don't understand how the D800E is a specialty product - from what I have read it is sharper in every way than the D800 without any drawbacks. Dumping the AA filter was one of the greatest choices Nikon has made in recent times (other than using the exmos sensor in the D800).
Any 5D that you can afford, Mk I, mk II, or mk III - they are genuinely some of the best prosumer cameras money can buy. The AF sucks on them for sure, but the sensors will allow you to bath in the glory that is a full frame sensor with excellent low light abilities. That said, for the same price one can pick up a…
Wouldn't using retroreflective tape achieve a higher visibility with no electricity due to the higher luminosity of car headlights relative to LEDs?
