FCA doesn’t need to build this in a 2 wheel drive to help sales. I’m sure the sales history of Wrangler proves it. Otherwise they would still build them.

I agree but...

This is really the answer. I have always made an effort to be a good neighbor. I’m decent at DIY house work and have often come to the rescue of neighbors who in return have rewarded me with any number of gestures including taking me to dinner, watering my garden when I’m out of town, taking in my mail, etc.

My curiosity was directed towards the dealership’s desire to stock a short bed cheap truck versus an equivalent long bed. I know I’m in the minority but I like the look and utility of a long bed, regular cab over the short bed.

You could take a regular Uber to Home Depot first.

When I buy my first house with a two car garage, my dream is to have an old beater truck in the driveway for the 5-7 times / year it’s actually needed. (Inside the garage will be the daily driver and a fun car).

What are your feelings about the media not identifying the shooters of domestic terrorism? I personally thought it was great to finally see a leader (Prime Minister of New Zealand) refuse to name the shooter. She said her reasoning was to prevent him from gaining notoriety. What’s wrong with getting help?

To clarify - the business rents just the wheels? So the idea is you change the wheels on your own vehicle for a few days? If so, I am also now sad. And I also want to deep dive into how their business functions and if it turns a profit.

What types of things on your truck would you spend $2500 on?

I was a factory rep for a domestic in the 2000's. I agree 45 days would be good but I can’t recall it ever being typical for one of my dealers. My job was to twist the arms of my dealerships to take more inventory. For a good part of my career; the norm seemed to be around 120 days of inventory. This was around the

They do all get sold. But the ones that are approaching a second birthday are sometimes given a final dealer cash payment from the manufacturer. From that point, the dealer won’t receive any more rebates or special financing to help sell the vehicle. Often a dealer stuck with a turd will sell it to themselves and

The goal is to have an overall 90 day supply of new vehicles at the dealership and in-transit from the factory. So in response to your observation; a successful new car dealership is going to sell roughly a third of the vehicles you are seeing there every month.

What’s this walk leading to? This commercial needs an ending.
