Probably not - even though the trailer gives the false hope that it would be. Like Dyne said, this has “Ingress with a pokemon skin, plus a dumb accessory to carry around with you so you have to wave your arms around in public” all over it.

Never met, sure, but I’ve followed Dunkey’s content for years and - as creepy as it sounds (such is the nature of the internet) - know quite a bit about him without ever having met him. You can just tell from his content that he’s moody, often-angry/frustrated, and unhappy a lot of the time. Doesn’t take a…
Fair, but there is an air of “celebrity status” that compounds things. The world is watching what these YouTubers make, and they feel pressure to keep their fans happy with regularly-posted, quality content — and to retain a happy / energetic persona while doing so.
Dunkey has some serious ego and depression issues, as evident from his “Mario 64” series that he posts from time-to-time. He has had money issues and problems with his YouTube advertising agents in the past and continuously lashes out at those around him. I feel for the guy.
It’s... just a heart >_>
“Skyrim” stress ball, or “med student” stress ball?
Unrelated, but FYI:
Not analogous.
Obligatory:
Reposting with credit and a link to the original site arguably gives the comic owner’s website pretty good publicity and could lead to it acquiring new readers. IMO it’s a win – win
Great write-up, Yannick. I love seeing how your style has evolved to explain key concepts to provide players (and, more particularly, non-players) with the context they need for to understand the subjects of your articles.
Well done!
I have not personally been to PAX, so if that’s the best they can do then it’s the best they can do. I have been a panelist at other relatively-speaking smaller convention such as Phoenix ComicCon and you usually tell them how big of a space you need (and if you’re a vendor, pay accordingly). Assuming that the hall…
They should have asked for a bigger space and more monitors. PAX is a huge operation and FROM Software is very successful. I think this would totally avoidable — they just want a 3-hour line for headline hype
That’s really inexcusable, really, and comes down to an insufficient number of monitors. When I attended BlizzCon in ‘07, I had the opportunity to play for five minutes of Wrath of the Lich King - on the same day that the expansion was first announced.
Is there anything about American Apparel that is NOT creepy/rapey?
Gum-chewing is such a trigger for me... It makes people look like goats
I believe they call that Comedy Central.
