Park it perpendicular. Problem solved.

BINGO! Glad this was already posted. Some fast food restaurants were looking to go greenby using a fluid-filled platform at the drive-thru window (to create hydraulic/electric power on a small scale), but critics all basically said all theyre doing is stealing from customers.Fractions of a penny at a time,

Bingo, that’s my question too.

So do they manage to do this without increasing rolling resistance to the cars? If the road deforms more than typical asphalt, they really wouldn’t be capturing lost energy as much as taking energy from people’s cars (which aren’t exactly thermodynamically efficient to begin with)

That is surprising given how the VW Wagon is known for having a lot of back seat space compared to other compact hatches and wagon’s. I’m assuming there are more compact rear facing child seats available? It has been 9 years since I needed a rear facing child seat, but I recall having them in small cars. The good

VW sells a manual version of both the Alltrack and the AWD Golf Sportwagen. Both have very nice back seats.

My R60 Countryman is a 6-speed with a forward and rear facing seat installed.

Wow that’s surprising. I was floored by how much more legroom there is in the current gen Impreza/Crosstrek than in the 2003 and 2006 Imprezas I had. Are the Outback, Legacy or Forester any better, or do they pretty much have the same problem?

Cash flow is a bitch. You can be immensely profitable, but if all of your money is tied up in inventory and operations, lack of cash can ultimately doom anybody. Without cash you can’t manufacture new products, pay employees, file taxes, or anything else that you need to do to keep the doors open. Ultimately, cash

Still haven’t gotten over the headphone jack... I am probably the only one.

So they get offended by a VW impound lot impersonating pre-game parking, but never had problem with the Lions impersonating a football team?

If you disgorge an antelope, does that mean it’s a cantaloupe?

I think pictures of cars we can’t get in North America should be framed in red on here to symbolize the rage I feel when I see beautiful cars that I can’t have. Or green for the envy, . . . or blue for sadness.

I’ve only had my manual 997 for a few days, and while I’ve driven several PDK equipped Porsches previously - and admit they are faster point-to-point - It isn’t ANYWHERE near as fun as throwing a Porsche’s heavy, chunky, smooth, mechanical, beautifully weighted shifter through the gears between bursts of acceleration.

The high-end sports car market hasn’t forgotten the manual.

Was going to write this exact comment. I defer to you good sir....

What are you talking about? Craigslist is full of cars with V4s. Do some research dude.
