Wow. I have nightmares about doing stuff like that.

This. My petrol powered toys get more attention from dudes than chicks. I came to terms with that when I was 16.

Because you spent a ton of money on the fast car and you can't afford or park a comfortable car too.

... 56 percent of women view men who drive exotic or fast cars as being show-offs or arrogant ...

Maybe, but that would require Detriot PD to actually do something. So, no.

I own a BRZ, this thread reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend the other day.

Not true... plenty of people will have that view at track days... particularly at the end of straightaways.

You can't pay off victims families to avoid going to jail in the US and that's not what happened here. The criminal and civil cases were separate. The criminal case happened and then five of the families or victims chose to settle for the ammount offered rather than pursue a civil suit.

Those settlements must have been huge for the other victims and their families to walk away. They are going to get destroyed in a civil trial, seems like the criminal defense practically teed it up.

Don't talk to me like you know me.

Its what happens when you don't add a twist to a ratchet strap holding spanning a large gap and then drive down the highway. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

You wanna hear about a chicken shit ticket? I got cited for not having license plates on a new car in San Francisco because California doesn't issue license plates to new cars for three months. I was still two weeks inside the limit.

After the initial disbelief, I'd probably call 911 and kindly ask the operator to request that the police not fire into or PIT maneuver the vehicle that I'm hostage in. Other than that... I don't see much that could be done.

Did the second, non-fearing for your life, ride make the whole thing worth it?

I just never get tired of this. Though it does set an impossible standard for BRZ owners.

If a Toyota falls in the woods and nobody is there to video, does it make an... Echo?

Not so good for motorcyclists, though.

Oh man, that was brutal! Hilarious, but brutal!

Upon closer inspection I believe you are correct. Mystery solved.
