It’s too bad the vocals from both singers isn’t even in the same galaxy as literally everything else they’re doing.  They need a new lead singer.

I played it when it rereleased on PS1, so I’m positive its hard type.  I wouldn’t say it was specifically difficult, but it was annoying.  I had just loaded up my inventory then had to go into a cave to lose all my shit.  I just said ‘fuck this’ and never played it again.

I love me a good grind RPG as long as the grind isn’t a slog.  It has to have snappy tight battles, even if frequent... if they slog out the battles too long (like DQ11), it makes grinding an annoyance...but I prefer a grind versus a cakewalk (like DQ11 without the Draconian Quests).

What I mean was that’s where the series broke for me, and didn’t redeem itself.

From what I hear, it depends on the version.  I’ve only played “hard type” which was annoying as fuck.  I’m all game for a challenge, but annoying the hell out of the player by limiting inventory and then taking literally everything away from you for a mandatory cave was where I gave up.  I hear “easy type” is much

I was actually balls deep in Wild Arms when FF7 came out.  WA was a much more enjoyable game, even if visually unimpressive.  Had better music and story too.  Not that WA was a “great” game at all, but it was better than FF7 IMO.

I was 18 when it came out, and sure, at first all the whiz-bang CGI and 3D graphics were “amazing” but then halfway into the game, I just found myself bored.

I’ll fight you over EB. That’s one I didn’t play until the last 10 years or so, so there’s no nostalgia. I love it. I’m also a huge Dragon Quest fan, so that type of RPG is right up my alley.  I also enjoyed EB1 on NES (eshop), and to a lesser extent Mother 3 was decent.

I also don’t like FF9, so there’s that.  Not a fan of X and X2 was trash IMO.  I agree that 8 was...okay.  I thought FF12 looked like it could be good but I never bothered to play it.  In all honesty, FF7 was almost my breaking point for the series.  Followed up with the meh FF8 and what I found to be a weak FF9 that

No. I’d rather replay FF5 which was the best of the entire series.

You’re actually talking to a Dragon Warrior (Quest) lifetime lover, who also disliked the recent Dragon Quest 11, which is also unjustfully lauded IMO.

Hot take: FF7 was never all that great.

Well, technically we had R.I.P.D. and people didn’t care.

Personally, I wouldn’t have a problem with the way the shipping hos gotten shitty in the past 3 years if they’d just remove the “GUARANTEED” delivery date on there. When you make a guarantee, you better fucking honor it. Just say “estimated” shipping date and end the promise if you can’t keep it.

I don’t even like sports games outside of the Mutant League series or everything on Neo Geo. I don’t care for regular serious sports games at all basically, but I played the fuck out of some 2K shit on Dreamcast.

This is the same Black Panther that white people got warned not to show up to in theaters over, right? But playing a ‘black guy’ even in not black face for Halloween if he’s a super hero is ok? <--(horrible sentence structure, I know.) Because last I heard over this whole Megyn Kelly (or whatever he name is) internet

To be fair, if they did Black Panther they'd have been equally crucified.

Counterpoint: I have never met a real person that actually likes Madea movies.

The cosplay IS awesome...I’m sorry but the trailer for She-Ra is horrible.  I have zero interest.

Its true.  I’d pay to see this guy do a live action take on He-Man (assuming he can act).  This is literally way more interesting than that bullshit She-Ra cartoon.  Though I will say that the She-Ra trash still looks better than Thundercats Roar.
