Kin no Unko makes much more sense to the Japanese than a western audience. You literally have no idea what copyright is and how it works.

To my knowledge, Nintendo does not own the TM to “Mother” as a video game franchise outside of Japan. So really I don’t see how they can DCMA them over it as long as Mr Saturn or other properties are removed.
