The hate train doesn’t come from the game being boring or crap, it comes from the lies and deception of the pre-release, then having the nerve to blame the consumer for “creating unrealistic hype” that was based on the confirmations fo features that aren’t there and the Aliens Colonial Marines level pre-release demos

Yep. I’m one of the suckers who put like 8-10 hrs into it hoping something different would happen if I just kept playing and got to new planets. Something like 20 planets later, I realized they were all just color flavors of the same 5 planet types, all mostly barren of life, the same 2 fucking sentinels everywhere,

Not counting the quality of the shows themselves, the animation specifically has devolved, not evolved. It’s become vastly simpler so that episodes can be churned out with less effort. Good for animators, I guess, but a lot of the charm is gone and replaced by software-rendered animation with fewer details and less

I’m sure even one person liked Superman 64.

You know what’s really sad? Starflight, which released 30 years ago in 1986, managed to get everything right that this game got completely wrong. So yeah, sorry but the game is a flop unless you’re a fan of pointless and endless grinding in an empty universe filled with empty promises build on a hype engine.

This is a pretty faithful recreation of NMS. All of the planets basically look the same but with different color scheme, all of the creatures are just variations of the same 3 things, and there’s nothing to do out in space. The only thing it’s missing is the incessant, endless farming of ore.

Nobody cares if you worked for EA before. We all know Mutant League Football is the best football game ever.

Now playing

This isn’t the first time KoF went to 3D...and the last couple of times, it sucked and looked terrible too. I think it needs to stick to sprites. I didn’t even care for the animated look of 13.

I was saying CHiLD was already ended, but should be on your radar. I realize Glitched is still ongoing.

So what you’re really saying is there are only 6899 copies available.

This also goes for movies that advertise shit int he trailer that isn’t in the film. I’m looking at you, Suicide Squad (among others). There has to be a point when we stop just accepting this shit. If you advertise it, it better be in the final product. If for some reason it needs to be cut last minute, you need to

Show a beta that looks immensely better and different than the final product, sell them on beautiful awe-inspiring visuals, and lead them to believe that’s actual gameplay in beta and by proxy it will only look better in final because alpha/beta usually are unfinished and without polish...then after release tell them

Can someone transcribe what the hell he’s saying in that Twitter video? I can only understand like every 5th word and English is my primary language.

I consider myself a liberal-leaning independent, and I think this is stupid. I don’t think it’s about liberal/conservative so much as common sense that this is retarded.

I think “whitewashing” has become just another one of those buzzwords that’s easy to throw out even if not necessarily in proper context... like saying “that’s racist” when it’s stereotyping or something far lesser...or like how everyone is calling every female lead a “mary sue” lately.

So now every time a famous white actor shows up in a foreign film, even at the foreign director’s request, it’s whitewashing? Gimme a fucking break.

While I love the entire premise of this game, I have no intention of picking it up simply because this is something that deserves a better community interaction percentage. The idea that I only have a 1% chance of ever encountering another player or even their planets just deflates any and all excitement I had for the

It’s immensely frustrating to watch you fumble around and not pay attention to on-screen prompts telling you exactly what to do.
