Why can't Microsoft with all its cash just cut the Windows everywhere nonsense once and for and free its developers to make an actually good (windows 7 is still crap) OS and atthe same time let another group focus on tablets/phones etc. Make the two groups play nice so that data drives apps in both platforms.
