So when is Sprint going to do the commercial where one of their Evo's is on it's own video call while serving as a wifi hotspot to an iPhone 4 user so he can use his revolutionary service as well?

@redfalcon: That's the great thing about Android, you got choice. for me the bigger screen is esential otherwise I'd have a harder time touch screen typing, even though Swype helps that alot.

@meehawl: Yeah and that ten year ago future even included phones that could video call from anywhere you had 3g reception. I guess it's only failure was that it wasn't made by Apple.

@TinyLightning: Don't forget it's a $600-$700 phone not a $200. Can't look at subsidy price, since you can't use a subsidy to buy one after you break it again.

Don't forget the Android market warns you whenever you download an app everything it has access too. This is something no other market does yet.

@Jared Greenwald: Your incredible is a very nice phone. I've seen my friend's next to my EVO. While I love the 4.3" screen, the fact that the Incredible feels so tiny in your hand and pocket yet with a 3.7" screen is also awesome. There are people who would prefer the smaller size. I know my brother would rather

@Almightywhacko: He never mentioned that he wasn't going to use it as a cell phone in the US on Sprint. I didn't think anyone would buy an EVO if they're not going to use it as a cell phone. Yes I know it's $450 I didn't bother correcting on price. I got mine on subsidy for $199.

@cjlopez: If you're not a current Sprint customer you have to sign a contract anyway so you might as well get the subsidy.

@HDC: It's only shown under the Mobile Broadband connection plans and when you go to purchase it you're only given two devices to choose, which one is a router the other is a usb modem.

@HDC: You sure you looking at the right thing? $60 a month is for a standalone 4g router. The phone only adds $10 to the monthly price so $69.99 for your phone plan plus $10 for unlimited data.

@thedreadpirate: I kinda have to agree here. Why don't they just say "hey we have the highest dpi screen, there are so many pixels most people can't tell they're there."

@GreezyG: If I have a problem seeing pixels on the EVO which is around 225 dpi I'm pretty sure the iPhone 4 screen is going to be hard to see pixels at 326dpi.

Doesn't this downward trend have anything to do with the fact that investors know that noone will want to buy a current iPhone until the next one comes out. So they predict subpar iPhone sales until the 4 is released.

@OCEntertainment: I dont' see the gears icon on the evo keyboard at all, but I have accessed it from the Menu.

@SubEffect: It's not official, it's a developer build and hasn't been released to the masses. Therefore they are correct.

@Andy S: True I did jump the gun. The EVO is my first android. I do normally prefer vanilla versions of operating systems, but Sense does do quite a nice job. It's funny everyone who doesn't have sense on their device wants it, and everyone who does have it wants it off. I guess it's partly a grass is greener on

@Maksimir: That is definitely the best advice to give the man/lady.

@RoboticSpacePenguin: I was actually having a discussion about this with my friend yesterday. The conclusion I came to is this: Apple may not be the first to implement something, but their implementation is usually the most easy and simplest for the end user.

@Andy S: The Hackers have already gotten root access. People have already removed bloatware and have even gotten 2.2 builds on the EVO. I think Google giving out the 5,000 units at the I/O conference really sped this along.
