Ha! If only! I never liked this kind of lifestyle - been there, done it, back in the dark ages of the early 90s, got over it, life goes on, AND NOT GOOD FPSes COME OUT!
I just wonder whether Strafe will satiate this thirst!

This. THIS!
Or the rails. Or the predefined path you must take so that you get to progress. Eff you game, I may just want to throw myself at the tank and do something totally radical you haven’t thought about. Give me the ability to do it. Don’t control me. Don’t think you are better than me, game.
Don’t. Patronise. Me.
I was talking about myself actually - but still my points, from my totally personal subjective point of view stand, methinks. And from what I see there are some other people who kinda agree with them too. Represent! Find the three keys and stick that rocket up Romero’s forehead!
“Call of Duty worked because it did the thing that first-person games are best at: placing the audience right in the middle of the game, letting them become part of the action. Developers use predetermined events, called “scripted sequences,” to help sell the experience. Games have been doing this forever—Half-Life…
Exactly. People would actually try different approaches on their skillsets depending on the items they got. People would invest time learning the little intriciacies of their class. People would learn to focus about everything and anything and every place could potentially hide a little secret or two.
Now it’s just…
Everyone says: “but they designed the ground world so well”
Well, why doesn’t everyone say: “why didn’t they design a 3D world so well? with secrets and lore and quests and shit that demands you fly?”
Depends on your hero and/or playstyle. E.g. I quite fancy Nazeebo and I play his zombie cc harass build so I always target whoever suits better, is easy to trap, loses more of a footing and gets interrupted when she/he has to move etc etc.
can you write it with huge 250px red flashing letters EVERYWHERE?
Sincerely, a frustrated player.
“Skelethur doesn’t even show up in some regions because of guidelines about the depiction of human remains.”
WTF is Skelethur? I wasn’t aware of his existence (dog gamn EU servers!)
Yes but Chen drinks A LOT and then spits the alcohol on his opponents and lights ‘em up.
I think it’s generally smoking. E.g. in WoW you get lots of drinking but NO SMOKING.
I can understand all of this, being an avid anti-smoker in my teens only to pick up the damn thing some years down the road.
But still, fuck this…
Where is this gif from? Who is the guy getting beat up because of 9.7?
Saw it last night. Not bad for what it tries to do and it has some really cool moments, but it would be better if we could get SOME kind of exposition and explanations and worldbuilding instead of witnessing anything from the eyes of Max or Furiosa’s alone. I mean, we have cancers, mutations, “half-life boys” -…
and the one before where we see the final fate of CHA girl. Dog gamnit Ginti, fair is fair but DOG GAMNIT GINTI YOU JERK.
No worries. The way things go we will probably be thrown out of the European Union and I am willing to bet that if the powers that are had their way we would probably be thrown out of the continent our ancestors actually named. Oh well.
“Could be worse”
“How?”
“Could be raining”
*thunder strikes*
I so feel for you. (Greece here, same shit, times 289.000 over)
1. “It’s just like the way they forced Diablo III players to grind their way through the entire campaign once at a difficulty level many found so easy”
Not necessarily, it’s just that it must be the lowest denominator. E.g. when doing the campaign it took me around 30 tries to get past Baal. (yes)
2. “So if you get…
“When you’re using a computer, most of what you do takes place in your browser, from opening tabs to watching videos and using webapps or extensions that integrate with the rest of yοur machine.”
Technically speaking yes, but, also technically speaking, English is the most widespread understood language in the planet.
Apparently when The Emperor comes into power, the High Gothik language that everyone speaks will probably be based in English :)
