God this game looks so good. The amount of particles shooting around at once is insane and it's smooth as hell with a ton of extra stuff happening in the background. I'm excited

Just finished watching it on the stream and I am excited! It looks awesome. R&C is one of my favorite franchises and since they said it will be out near launch I guess that means I gotta pre-order me a PS5!

The BC games that run natively are Xbox One games. Xbox 360 games are PowerPC, so certainly not native. Original Xbox games are also x86, but still running via emulation.

The sequel to the underrated PSVR game Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Astro’s Playroom, will be pre-loaded onto every PS5, but it sounds like more of a demo for the DualSense controller than a full game.

They want that bad! the games industry has tried to kill physical media this whole generation. Even Netflix rarely releases physical copies of their shows. For Netflix piracy will be the only way to get their content if Netflix goes bust.

There are fewer commitment hurdles when it comes to watching movies and TV shows. They work well in a subscription environment because you can efficiently consume a lot of it.

I’m only one person, and this is just my opinion:

I like purchasing physical media not only in case you can’t get it later but to lend to my friends and family. Also some of my favorite youtube channels showcase games and movies of various formats and games from the past and current.

This just makes me glad to buy games and not have any tied to a subscription service

That’s my problem, you’re basically renting a backlog. I already get this with monthly Gold and Plus games but they don’t get swapped out.

Once I realized how ephemeral Game Pass and other subscription services are, they lost all their luster.
