I have to admit, I’m pretty surprised a western company was allowed to make this game. I remember about ten years ago, when I worked for a big publisher, that we pitched three concepts, one was an open world Native American game. Boy was that shut down fast!

I’m a bird-watcher and really tuned into bird sounds when I play games and the accuracy is slightly off but pretty impressive.

For instance, the golden birds are Black-naped Orioles which are common in nearby Korea but pretty rare visitors to Japan. But the loopy vocalizations of the orioles are totally accurate.

I’ve

The entire arc of the Straw Hats is “We’re starving, samurai suck, we side with the Mongols because life can’t get worst”. Lady Maseko and Ishikawa’s entire story arcs are all about how by following Samurai tradition they lost the things they cared most about (and not in the self sacrifice way, but the screwed the

I have not heard the English language voice track, but the Japanese language one is good. The voice actors do a good job. Yuna and Kenji, in particular, are quite enjoyable in Japanese.

You know, beyond the Japanese gamers and critics who have embraced Ghost of Tsushima, beyond the perfect score from Weekly Famitsu (only the third offered to a Western game in the publications 27 year history!), the fact that Toshihiro fucking Nagoshi is heaping such effusive praise on this game...I just...I hope all

This game is such a love letter to Kurosawa, and it’s great to see Japanese fans and critics really embracing the game. Funnily enough, Kurosawa spent his entire career being criticized for being too “Western” - and then Ghost of Tsushima becomes a critical darling in Japan. :P

Rational people were saying this from the start, but some were just so invested in the positive PR Microsoft got from appearing so pro-consumer, that they refused to listen.

This whole thing is unbelievably silly. Are they trying to confuse people on purpose?

I don’t want a new Halo that is held back as far back as the original XBox One hardware so it can also work on Series X.

Lets be honest, that stance was stupid as fuck from a business standpoint. If you want people to upgrade you need to provide them a reason to upgrade and for most normal consumers (not those that comment on a video game website) a few extra polygons and more stable frame rates are not a big enough reason to drop

Dont forget the exclusives Phil kept talking about how its bad for consumer....

Considering i just read a review that diss Tsushima as “it felt like japanese culture made by foreigner which then failed in every aspect of it.

4. Everyone that has pre-ordered a physical/ collector’s edition.

And it would not surprise me at all if Sony might be wary releasing a game about a post-apocalyptic world where a virus completely decimates society during a time where we’re apparently not even close to “how bad this is going to get.”

So your issue with Sanders is that he didn’t run third party and guarantee a GOP win?

You just can’t take the truth can you...

Curious, who is currently leading the national polls?

“There was only one problem: People on the internet were absolutely convinced Bernie’s army fought everyone, even though it was really just a small minority of them. In those days, internet people didn’t realize that they weren’t the majority, and journalists went along with it because pretending whatever was on

It’s crazy to think about industry standards back then, when you’d regularly have dozens of artists and programmers on a project being so dramatically overworked. Things have come such a long way now that it’s hundreds of them.
