It was Barry Petchesky at Deadspin. “Nobody” IS accurate for Kotaku.

mark cerny announced way back in 2013—before the PS4 even came out!—that all future playstations would be “forward-compatible.” so “backward compatibility” is not really a thing. in summary, the playstation 5 is pretty much gonna be an xbox one x lol
