I’ve only had, like, two message me, I think, but that’s been a weird development. I know someone who has dozens of those messages.

Wait, wait, wait, before I debate this any further, are you arguing that more people care about backwards compatibility than care about new, exclusive games?

Kinja certainly does get messed up like that. Don’t worry, I believe you weren’t lying about that part.

Thanks for not digging your hole any deeper, I suppose. Though, your attempted defense is... further unbecoming. But *shrug* I suppose, haha.

Tekton, you absolutely do, and I could’ve sworn I brought this up to you before.

Haha, why would JRPGs not be included? Are those somehow not as much games as titles with other genres or countries of origin? Shall we just exclude all the Forza games, then? No, of course not.

You recommend (star) almost every post you make, (I assume) trying to give the appearance of greater outside support for your comments than they’ve actually garnered. I could have sworn we’ve talked about this before.

My old consoles all still work, but the old consoles are cheap. The added upgrades and convenience of backwards compatibility is certainly valuable. But it’s hardly difficult to gain access to your old games.

I’m a proud Kickstarter backer thanks to your coverage back in 2016, Luke. I can’t wait for it to arrive.

Also, Tekton, can you do me a favor and stop reccing all your own posts? It’s really unbecoming and makes it hard to take you seriously.

I love backwards compatibility more than the next guy, but I’d say new exclusive games are pretty damn important too.

What does that have to do with his point, though? They’re comparing the two consoles. One has a huge heap of games that can’t be found on the other console. The other has, comparatively, drastically fewer.

Yeah, when I saw that article I laughed and laughed. Thanks for setting it straight, Jason.

Waiiit, CrashingEchelon doesn’t have a PS4?! I would’ve never guessed ;)

Yep, hard to break people’s narratives when they decide on one, so early narratives about a console or a generation can make people’s minds up. That impression will stubbornly remain, for a lot of people, for a long time regardless of what happens later.

Well, if you look at it from a sales standpoint, there’s no doubt they’re killing it. The PS4's far and away the best selling console of the gen and it isn’t really slowing down yet.

Ok, see you when the article comes out.

It’s a joke.
