Well I’m glad it went Viral, but it’s still not quite right. Technically every state now has an anti-left-lane-hog law, although they all vary in how they are worded.
Which is the problem here...you shouldn’t move right when there are people behind you, you should move right when you are not passing traffic...it’s that

One would think that pro drivers would be better about releasing a locked up brake instead of panic stopping.

I think you are missing the fact that Chevy made too many Z/28's and by the end of the run was selling them for roughly ~$50k. So given that, they haven’t actually depreciated all that much.
The old GT500 is more desirable than the old ZL1 because it had more power and weighed less...and there isn’t a new GT500 to

Well I just imported a Honda Beat (cheap because it needs some cosmetic work) and it’s pretty fun, and well under the $10k budget. It’s not super fast, but it sounds great, is fun to drive and gets a lot of looks and photo’s in parking lots.
What I really want though is a nice clean Cappuccino...which should be $8-10k

Well now don’t push it :p

Quick question...are PDK’s good in full auto mode? Because some flappy paddle cars aren’t. According to Motor Trend the GT-R is horrendously slow to react in normal auto mode.

You are mostly correct...the one and only problem being that the turn signal stalk would be on the right side of the wheel...but everything else would be easier to access.

My Honda beat is aligned properly...and it’s still sketchy as fuck trying to drive one handed (doubly so because you have to do a lot more shifting than in a car with proper torque where you can hang in one gear longer and skip shifts).

Well at least this is a pretty good reason for wanting an auto.
Like others have mentioned, a HRD car would make a pretty cool option as the controls would all be much easier to reach...except for the turn signal which would be on the right.
But unless you rig up a special shifter like C.Felente then a manual would be a

A V8 in a Viper is a lot less treasonous than an automatic in a sports car.

I mean your not wrong that an auto would boost sales...but it’s still wrong that it would.

So I’ve seen a few Viper nuts up in arms over this, but personally I don’t really understand why.
The 90 degree V10 while potent, never sounded very good to me, and it was heavy. A lighter and more cost effective V8 with the same power is just a better choice. If auto manufacturers have proven anything lately it’s that

So what you are saying is the Stealth had turbo’s that could make 600hp?

How the fuck is an opinion anything but fabricated? I didn’t make any statements of fact about this scenario, and I literally included the word “appear” because I (and likely you) don’t know any more about the story than what was on the video, which is still a lot more than “nothing”.

Since you suck at “interneting” so

This is what I’ve been saying. People keep toting that an automatic is faster, and I am like so what? You are giving up 40% of the connection and control for...what, half a second per lap? Would those same people willingly give up the steering wheel for an additional 1-2 seconds a lap?

Well how does this work in the rest of Europe where it jumps from right to left?

If you want something unique, import a Japanese car under the 25 year rule.
If you stay away from the big dogs like the Skyline and hunt for sedans, and other lesser known cars here in the US you can find some good deals, likely within your budget...as long as you can wait about 2 months for the car to arrive.

Well if accidents and deaths are the primary measurement we are using for how good an autonomous system is, then it really needs to come down to percentages...which are likely hard to track.
Because it’s not just what percentage of the cars are sold are wrecked but what percentage of hours driven in autonomous mode

Interesting...I still don’t understand why he didn’t start further back and just do a longer burnout.

I suppose...I felt like he was confused or something...and then they put down way more water than he wanted.
They really need to designate that burnouts are ~50ft behind the starting line like a normal drag strip. Then you don’t have this drama of only crossing the line once...or failing to do a burnout.

(spoiler alerts...does anyone care)? What was annoying to me was the inconsistency and poor setup of the actual races.
Most of the races they put down way too much chalk/powder at the start line causing cars to push before the start, or spin badly when crossing the line.
The light they used to start was not only
