Yeah I like it too, because all of the spoilers and splitters are functional, unlike these cars.

This is both awesome and horrible at the same time.
If I had lots of money to burn I’d import something like a ZL1 1LE over there and show up to stuff like this just to troll everyone.
Lift off oversteer. It’s a bitch, especially if your have no steering.
How thick of rust can this remove exactly?
My FiST just rattles a lot more. In the warm it doesn’t have really any rattles, but when it’s really cold outside there are two, one all the time in a rear door, and another up front that goes away when the engine gets warm.
And the other day when I went to work and it was -10F outside, the shifter was very rubbery…
1) You’re wrong. The Camaro 1LE’s, and Mustang GT350R are all above 400hp and manual only, and also very much the fastest car you can get at each given price point. The Corvette excluded you would have to go above $100k to find a car faster than the SS 1LE, or GT350R, and above $150k to find one faster than the ZL1…
Counter counter point: It was fun and all, but you need to tell your mom to stop calling me.
No the Cayman is great too, better than a Miata.
But the car he was describing at the end of the story: “offers a straightforward, enjoyable experience, focused on driver inputs without pushing them to a level of exhaustion” was a Miata. Other acceptable answers are GT86/BRZ, and the Fiesta ST. All of them are good…
Just like every time I get into this argument, people start putting words in my mouth. I never said a car can’t be fun without a manual. Obviously a Porsche GT3 RS is fun. But car’s with manual transmissions are usually more fun than automatics, particularly on the street, and particularly when the car isn’t obscenely…
Good lord, enough with the equivocation. Manuals are more engaging, and for most enthusiasts, more fun to drive.
A DCT removes a very large portion of involvement and skill from the equation.
Therefore a car with only an automatic isn’t focused on driver inputs, it is focused on being fast at the cost of driver inputs.
No, the BRZ is good. But more power would make it better.
What? The fact that this is auto only proves that it absolutely takes outright performance as a priority over enjoyment and connection.
The Miata is the car you are talking about, not the A110.
I too, like blue.
Well yeah...
I’m just addressing the issue that people seem to think AWD is the best/only solution to winter, and it isn’t...snow tires are.
The one time I had an attendant fill me up in NJ it was a horrible experience. At first I was a bit worried if I was supposed to tip or not, but that worry quickly went away when he nicked my car with the nozzle while putting it in the tank, and then he (not exaggerating) spilled more gasoline on my car than I have in…
As I’ve said in other threads a FWD/RWD car with winter tires will do better in the snow than an AWD car on all seasons. Given most of the AWD sporty cars these days come with summer tires fitted, you’ll have to swap for a winter set anyway.
So personally I would concentrate more on the other requirements.
Among those…
Most of these I won’t shed a tear over...but the Viper was a great car and (the ACR) a track legend. The Chevy SS will also be missed as a great driving large RWD V8 manual sedan. Probably the last of it’s kind (but hopefully not).
Just let me know when it’s legal to import a Dacia Sandero!
That is...unfortunate.
Yeah that’s about 10 times as expensive as mine...I guess all that counts for something.
