The GT-R is also overpriced.
It was pitched as the value supercar. Now it can’t competes with the top end Camaro’s for double or more their price.

Exactly!
I really want to buy a Camaro SS 1LE, but I really don’t want to be forced to grow a mullet.
No, not like McDonald’s. They always are out of something, and so you have to wait while they cook more.
The old NSX was able to beat the German and Italian competitors for less money.
Now the NSX has the same price as they do, but doesn’t have the interior, performance, sound, or feel to match them. The Camaro ZL1 and even Corvette Grand Sport with just 460hp is as fast/faster on track while being more engaging to drive.…
What does the amount of technology matter if it doesn’t actually amount to any performance?
The NSX was supposed to be a supercar killer on a lower budget, but now it’s priced like a supercar with the performance of a Camaro ZL1, but with less balance and feel.
I meant the Type R’s MSRP of <$35k, not the price with markup.
First of all, I’ve only been to KFC a few times, and I don’t think I’ve ever been served as fast as 5 minutes. 15 minutes might be more typical.
And if you are enjoying your food and not stuffing it down like a pig, then 30 minutes for eating is completely reasonable. Add to that a bathroom break at the end (especially…
To be fair the NSX is massively overpriced (and overcomplicated), while the Type R seems much more appropriate.
If you would actually practice what you preach you would know that Kimmel is only advocating that Trump’s ‘repeal and replace’ team consult with and listen to medical experts, which they are *not* doing currently. Kimmel even admitted in his speach that he wasn’t an expert, but neither are the people writing the…
When I was young I had a 90 Buick LeSabre donated down from the grandparents. It was a good car aside from the abysmal handling.
Anyway, you could run the gas far below the E on the guage, and then when it would finally start stalling when you stopped or turned too suddenly. From that point I once still made it ~15…
And the GT-R as well. The entire point of the GT-R was that it was to beat supercars at half their price. Now it’s ballooned to be equal to their price, and doesn’t even beat them anymore. The new Godzilla is the Camaro as the ZL1 1LE is $72k and beats the GT-R NISMO and other supercars.
Well a good set of wheels/tires can make the car look a lot better, and help with handling as well. Lowering would make it look more sporty as well. Just keep in mind a decent set of wheels/tires and coilovers will run about $2200, and by that point your only $1-2k shy of a decent LS400 :D
Meh, I feel like NISMO is a bit of a joke in recent years. Overpriced appearance packages.
How would you determine what villages those are anyway? I’m sure if anyone knew ahead of time that they would all be slaughtered they’d all vacate.
The drug war is now even starting to pour over into the tourist areas which were previously thought safe.
Unless you drive on a bunch of twisty backroads where good handling would make it more fun I’d just bank the money for your next (funner) car.
But with coilovers, midrange is usually decent enough. The cheapest brands usually are overly harsh, not tuned for the car, and don’t hold up very long.
I do. Literally.
:D In all seriousness, there are worse cars to have as a first car than simply something boring.
I had something boring and unreliable: a 1985 (carbureted) Buick Century.
And this is why I always laugh at people who say that Nurburgring lap times are “official”.
This is way nicer than my 197k Honda Odyssey that I want to sell.
Shoot your parents.
