If we're talking super cars, yes the GTR is a hard value to beat, and I'd argue the ZR1 and Z06 as well, but 90 to 100K shoppers are much different than 30 to 50K shoppers. That still puts the Coyote GTs in a pretty unique crowd for the money.

The way I see it, the SS coming back gets us one step closer to our own version of the HSV Maloo as the return of the El Camino. But much like a new Ranchero, that's probably a pipe dream.

I'm currently visiting Australia and as I have gone around drooling over the Holdens and Aussie Fords, talking with fellow car nuts, its funny how much the "grass is always greener" montra rings true. These guys lust after our cars too.

I suppose it depends on what you buy the car for. My Fusion? Meh, it's nice and all, but I have no problem getting rid of it for something more efficient a few years down the road. It's my commuter car, so there's no real attachment and no long term plan to keep it.

Can relate. I bought a used 2000 Lightning two years ago with only 14k on the clock and your typical bolt-ons. It ended up having a bit of a clog in the fuel filter, more than likely due to sitting up as much as probably had. Replaced it, gained virtually no additional grunt, but my average fuel economy went from

Donks. The Kesha of the automotive world...

But, but... "The Crain Team's Got Em!" Stupid advertising....

Nail on the head. It took them three terrible tries, but they finally accomplished the up scale F-150 that made sense by just making the Platinum edition. Having Lincoln on the front wasn't really necessary.

Possibly a SMU fan?

I wonder if its going to be immediately sealed away in a temperature controlled garage somewhere, never to be hooned properly as it should.

CS has Lubbock beat on the asshole parking cops... Just ask Johnny Manziel!

Meh, the practice of booting cars is still alive and well in San Antonio.

Clown Shoe Pilot is right on the money. Tundras (and now Tacomas) are, as advertised on all Toyota trucks sold in Texas, "Built in Texas by Texans". We're suckers for that sort of thing, so they tend to get a pass.

That annoying practicality thing. As a daily driver, they're fine, and the late model Stangs even haul their fair share of groceries. But at the end of the day, mine makes 16MPG in the city, has two doors, and a back seat only a 10 year old would love. I'm single and I still have a Fusion as my daily driver. She

Always willing to oblige. Here's an older shot

Very original. With mine being an 09, I found myself in a similar situation when it came time to get custom plates, all the good ones were taken. Later Texas offered 7 number plates for a limited time where I could have changed it, but now BULLGT is just part of the car's personality.

I'm guessing you mean the STi version. I currently drive a 2k WRX with only aroudn 220 hp and I consider it pretty forgiving... not really a characteristic of a car I'd call overpowered.

The snake hissing on the hood said enough.

I'd actually forgotten about the ducks. I remember them emphasizing them in a commercial back during the Catera "Caddy that Zigs" days. There was a cartoon red duck that jumped off the logo.

Further proof I've spent too much time in the Ford Rabbit hole and need to expand my car history knowledge a bit. I wasn't aware that the Corvair ever had a turbo model. That's definitely a great emblem.
