By referencing Hamm as an exception to the rule? I'm not particularly offended by Monotreme's generalization, but its existence still seems apparent to me.

The last one has got to be a joke, right? Stop the government funding of The Onion? That's hilarious!
This is, unfortunately, true of many mental health disorders. Schizophrenia, for instance, may not even be one disorder but a variety of neural differences that present similar external symptoms. Different hypotheses about the underlying biology - longloop, dopamine, etc. - may all be true in certain cases. We just…
The fifth is a spare, in case one breaks down. It's a donut, though, so they can't go over 35mph.
Promoted for giving me a plan if I ever come across one of these badboys covered in skinny people.
I'm kind of surprised that in your list of failings of the US system you didn't mention government negotiation of drug prices. The US is the only industrialized nation that doesn't negotiate on behalf of its citizens, and we're charged ridiculously more for prescription drugs as a result. I lived in Canada for 5 years…
Or put a giant fin on the back and slap some racing sponsor stickers on the bumper.
And strong enough to hold itself up without a cup.
I'll take my coffee the old fashioned way, thanks...
What does the DS211+ do that the Netgear didn't? I have a D-Link DNS-323, and it's basically just a network hard drive... but I can't really think of anything else I'd like for it to do. I just want to toss movies and pictures on it and be able to get them from any computer. It even has a web interface if you use…
If you're not looking to build it yourself, I like the D-Link DNS-323. $150, two bays. Toss in a couple of 2Tb drives and you're on your way. Setup literally takes maybe five minutes.
I went the poor man's route. I got a D-Link DNS-323. It's been great. The software that comes with it is simply a network scanner to let you find the NAS and mount the drives. There's nothing to install. Once mounted, the drives work like a HDD, which is what I wanted. My MBP connects to the NAS whenever it reboots,…
I guess I don't understand business. It seems as though, if the DVD market is going to shrink over time, that either costs will have to go up or services will have to go down. If DVD goes the way of the VHS, basing your business on the people who refuse to migrate seems like at some point you hit a steep drop... and…
Ah. Logically proven facts and the opinion of the author are the same thing (from the point-of-view of the author). Proven facts are just opinions about explanations that are widely accepted, so even if he'd said, "Gravity is what holds us onto the Earth," that would be an expression of his opinion that he'd accepted…
Reading the article a little more in-depth they do differentiate this method from the laser method several times, saying the method here uses an electron beam. I'm not sure what practical difference this has on energy efficiency or cost. Still neat, though.
That makes sense... and I support the use of lasers in any and all applications.
I just want to try it. Probably because I want to try pretty much everything that's darker than a lager at least once. Sometimes you strike out (Goose Island Pere Jacques, Stone Imperial Black IPA, I'm looking at you guys), and sometimes you find something awesome (Georgetown 9LB Porter, here's to you!).
Me too. It seems like you'd have to be working in high heat, or else you'd just end up with metal dust. The metal has to be melted together... I assume.
