I see nothing wrong with it if you own the games and a Wii. Nintendo plus the developers and publishers of the games you play are not missing out on any of your money that way. All you are doing is up-resing your games (and in my case I like having backups of my physical game media).

I pre-ordered from sendit. Seemed to have the best price at the time, and I could not finish the order using zavvi (or whatever that site is called).

I'm using the old Logitech Rumblepad 2 (corded) and emulating the classic controller. The system specs might be misleading based on what I said, but according to my hardware monitor Dolphin is using at max 16% of both my CPU and RAM.

And here is the same screen with everything turned off (back to normal ;) )

I'll try, but I'm not sure how impressive they will be. I'll try an up close of Shulk so you can see the effect of high AA.

I'm in the as well States (maybe I was lucky on shipping time?)

My copy of Xenoblade Chronicles came in yesterday, then I promptly sought out a way to get it to work with Dolphin. Well I succeeded and am very pleased so far both with the game and the abilities of Dolphin. I was able to run the game with the highest graphics modulators and it hardly hit my system. And for the first

In order to back it up, I would first need to softmod the Wii though. Or obtain a rare, old LG drive that can read Wii discs. So getting an iso from someone with said drive was the best option for me.

Actually sendit.com has it for 5 dollars cheaper (according to my cc bill anyways). Looks like they changed the availability though. But yeah, stay away from eBay folks!

I went both ways. I want to support Tetsuya Takahashi (and Monolith... I guess) so I bought an import copy (got mine from sendit [www.sendit.com] ). Then I somehow obtained an iso of it for use in Dolphin, partly because I want to play it in HD, partly because I could screw up the softmod (easy as the procedure is).

Have the green Nvidia version of the last case (at least, it looks like a Cooler Master). I like my old Thermaltake Xaser VI better as that thing is built like a tank and has great airflow (plus a handy lock if I need to take it somewhere).

Pretty much my rule before buying a system as well, only I go for the combined amount the games I want must retail for a price that is equal to or greater than the price of the system. So for brand new games that would be about the 5 game mark as a minimum. Thankfully plenty of good games hit the $20 or less mark

Have to say, you taste in games cuts out a good chunk of what has been pumped out this gen making this a bit of a challenge. Off the top of my head I think these games/series would work for you:

Hard to be a disappointment when there are no (good) expectations in the first place.

Shawne Merriman (Tila Tequila, 97)? Oh, snap!

Was hoping for some Sisqo Silver, but voted for gender-bender pink.

Obviously because I'm lazy. And nothing really motivated me to mod it before.

Just got my notice today that Xenoblade has shipped. Hopefully I can get it up and running on Dolphin through one of my drives. If not, I see a soft mod in my Wii's future.

What, no neon blue? Blonde is so passé!

In the case of these screen shots, the OLED screen would have little bearing as the issue is (to me anyways) some of the meshes and textures since nothing looked blurry, just blocky (in the case of Resistance).
