I was hoping they would find a negative correlation. I know when I was growing up, I would put eating on hold until I reached a good stopping point (end of a dungeon, after a boss battle, etc.). The gamer obesity stereotype seems to assume multitasking with people eating and playing at the same time. I know my friends

Now playing

I would imagine these to be the words that come to mind for a few folks.

Small thought. If you are going to nominate the 360 version over the less than stellar PS3 version, why not nominate the best version (PC)? Not saying it's the best game in any form, but if you are going nominate a a specific platform from a multiplatform game, you have to go with the best version.

@Raso719: I can't give it to Bayonetta because the camera just always seemed to be out of place and I felt I was blindsided more than I was in DMC4. I know you can manually move the camera, but in the heat of battle it just felt like too much of a chore for me.

As with the previous Nintendo portable systems I have, I will wait for the LE gold Zelda edition. Hopefully that comes with the second design sometime in the future along with a price drop.

@floppy mcwiggle: I must say, I am jealous of that sammy! I was debating a Panasonic since they have a new feature that is supposed to prevent or fix burn-ins. Most of the performance gripes are with LCD and LEDs. I know for refresh rates I can walk from my CRT room to the LCD and without fail I remark how the LCD

@floppy mcwiggle: The lag might be too small for you to notice. It became really apparent to me when I had a co-op game of Uncharted and both of us were in the same room. He was using the Sony CRT and I was using the 120Hz Samsung (sorry, don't remember the model off the top of my head). The time between button press

A few months ago I spoke with some others on what we though the next generation of consoles would bring. I personally think they will be more about improving things like frame rate and load times (using things like SSDs) than about a leap in graphics. While hardware improvements are possible now, I don't think it's

@RRW: details details. The option is only suggested since that first option is basically a cash-back option, only you personally have to do the legwork. Plus, it's the fourth option. Every multiple choice needs a fourth option!

Since option "a" will give you the closest thing to a full refund, with no money going to Activision, how about fourth option?

@Helba: Have a Virus Core!: I don't think you're totally off. It is strange that he would respond "the free PSN" instead of just "PSN." Whether that has to do with publisher kick-backs from Microsoft (no, this is not a dirty kick-back), or something about how accessing the servers through PSN is a pain in the ass for

@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: I do. At first I wondered if it was just an artifact of different things like translations getting better, and Westerners finally getting a true grasp on what they were playing (mostly the older gamers here). But the Japanese fans have been complaining as well, so

Now the battle systems looks even MORE like Kingdom hearts. The first two, not the hand held off shoots. I was kind of hoping for a menu shot to help clear things up, but oh well. The aiming with the gun part (if not a pre-rendered) makes me wonder if there are critical damage areas on mobs (head vs body) and if they

Wonder how much of this is the cut material that was talked about during FFXIII's launch. With such a quick turn around (2011), I'm inclined to think most of it is. In which case, we are being charged 2x full price for a game.

@orijimi: FFVIII and Legend of Dragoon touch on your first question, but I can't recall a game where you start out with your significant other and priority is placed on her safety. I'm not sure about explicit complaining in games, but I do remember Tidus' special being affected by how you treated the women in your

Does it bode well for the NA release? It bodes about the same. It's not the kind of game where a T rating would get them more sales. Actually, if they cut some material to get down to a T rating it might hurt sales among the audience most likely to buy it. There's a censorship argument to make too, but I don't feel

I'm afraid I'm part of the group that thinks all trophies/achievements are stupid. Among those achievements I will agree that the find a bunch of crap for no reason (flags in Assassin's Creed) are the worst. I would much prefer an in game reward over some e-penis points. And if the achievements/trophies are there to

My personal GOTY would go to either Ys: Seven or 3D Dot Game Heroes. Just pure fun for me.

@TheRealDoshu: Quick question: is Dragon Breath 3 a different name Breath of Fire 3? I don't want to miss out on a good PSP title.
