For a while I was convinced that, if you looked into the cockpit of a black 4-door VW Jetta, you'd consistently find a cute, perky, caffeinated chick who possessed only the vaguest, most ephemeral awareness of the roadway around her.

I'm absolutely going to watch, and I will remain optimistic, but I simply can't shake the thought that we were *this* close to having Adam Carolla as the host. He is, I think, without question the perfect man for the job, and the TV business somehow found a way to screw that up.

This is horrid, but it can't compare to the volt dancers. This at least has one bad idea that they stuck with. The volt dancers tried to mix breakdancing, the Laker Girls, and the Juno soundtrack.
