I’m still playing with the light, and it takes a fair bit of in camera monkeying, but I wanted some cold light to simulate those nasty street lights they use in parking garages. Right now the mix is like 2/3 warm 1/3 cold.
It’s an obscure one. It’s The Dude’s Gran Torino. Not a custom. Greenlight actually makes that model just as you see it.
Given the blister’s already messed up (which to be honest was a plus for me) I will probably carefully cut the blister open, keep the card, and build a small track diorama for it. I’ve already gathered some materials to make a red and white racing kerb.
The Target near my SF office has brief moments of mainline adequacy in the mornings but it’s always picked clean by 5.
Having done this myself, all I can say is keep at it. It’s difficult, but from what I’ve seen at some point the tampo kind of “fails” and then it starts to lift off more easily. My instinct with all these is just to paint over the problems. It looks challenging, but do you think you could fill in with black?
