Sure. I’m with you completely. And yet - what this article seems to be about is the act of reaching to use words that you don’t fully understand. I am currently grading a stack of papers written by undergraduates, and many of them seem to believe that using words they just barely understand makes them sound smarter.

Sounds like it would also be useful for therapy tracking...

There is some indication that people who are taking medication while receiving therapy may attribute most of their improvement to the medication. Which is a problem if you then stop the medication.

I found it really hard to get started playing. Like I kept doing one thing then quitting. Then something clicked, and I vanished into their world for quite a while. I recommend it very highly, but really only if you’ve got some time on your hands...
