There is a line. We can probably all agree that letting people on board airplanes with guns and bombs is probably a bad idea. We can probably all agree that stripping people naked and flying them separate from all their stuff (we could all wear matching 'flying jumpers' with corporate logos on them!) is also

Could you be more specific?

Cool! Thanks to both of you. I hope it's a very fast app...

Question-because-I-want-to-know-not-because-I'm-trying-to-make-a-point: Was there a way for the fire department to know not to puncture the protective metal plate over the battery? Are there markings or instructions? Or is this just the kind of thing that a fire department should know to do or not do?

Katie: What's your source for this understanding of postpartum depression?

I don't understand high fashion at all. I just don't have the capacity to get it. These things... I'm supposed to want to buy some other, at best tangentially-related thing because I like these things, even though no human being would ever wear them anywhere other than a runway? I don't understand.

Thanks! I've never had memory foam anything, so I had no idea.

Pillows can be washed and dried, depending on what's in them. I had some down pillows that looked pretty bad, so I figured I had nothing to lose. In the washer they went. In the dryer they went. When they came out, they were totally...

I'd like to know a lot more about the exploration of legal records associated with women in the porn industry. Has this been published in a peer-reviewed journal? Or somewhere else?

I'm confused. You note (correctly) that most studies don't support the idea that women in porn were abused at a higher rate than the general population. But you also say that 'reports' show that over half of women in porn have a record of physical or sexual abuse.

The tricky part with an immersion blender is always getting to every part of the container. I would think this would be easier in an actual blender, but then honestly I've only ever done this with a food processor which, while it worked, was almost certainly not the right tool for the job.

My family of origin was deeply divided on the need to refrigerate butter. Well, not need exactly, since none of us really thought it HAD to be kept cold. I and the other right-thinking members of the family believed that butter is just more pleasant cold. My father (far from the only way he was wrong) and brother

Sure - I agree completely. A lot of cooking is more like meditation than it is about making eatable things. In that sense, this is a great thing to know. A lot of people also don't have an intuitive sense of what butter is or where it comes from, and this is a good way to think about both.

You can also make flavored butter by adding flavor to butter. There's really no tricky part. Buy butter, mix in herbs and/or spices, store for later use. Works just as well with a stick of purchased butter.

Except they don't have to be in the same inbox at all. If your mail app supports it (and most do), you can treat google labels as folders and have multiple folders, each of which has mail from a different account in it. I know this is possible since I do it and have for years.

I'm confused. Why wouldn't you use one of your services (gmail, for example) to check the others, then use either the built-in Mail app or the gmail app? If it's for security reasons, this app wouldn't be for you anyway for the reasons discussed in the post. If it's for tidiness reasons, you can certainly use

Are you under the impression that red light cameras reduce the number of people driving through red lights? So, if they don't do that, we shouldn't have them, right? That's a testable hypothesis, and one that has been tested, with publicly known results.

All the protective gear in the world makes the problem worse. Less protective gear (as noted above by other commenters) is the solution, and I'm starting to wonder how the people who do not support that change (and are in a position to actually make it) sleep at night.

Here's the thing. I realize that I come from a place of privilege (in lots of ways, but particularly regarding education), and thus have little ground to stand on with a statement like the one I'm about to make. In addition, I make grammatical and spelling mistakes all the time, particularly when online. There is

So it sounds like you and the national organization support pulling the local charter?
