Yeah. Just throwing tons of power at a car without working on launch or stability control is just to jerk off someone's ego. With that power level and proper tires this thing should be running low 8s...
I was making a subtle innuendo about the bat-like thing, but what you said works too. I can dig it.

Ah. Then my work here is done.
Not to be a twat, but that's just a regular coilover, not a pushrod setup. It's missing the, ahem, pushrods.
I had a 2003 X5. I think that one was a much cleaner, more focused design. Definitely not as aggressive as the new one, I'll give you that, but that original design didn't feel like it was trying so damn hard. Great car for 85k miles, then it just went sideways and everything started to fail. Hint: Washboard roads are…
Oh, good one. Now I feel bad.
Which is funny, because I said exactly that in my previous post: "Like the first one was bushings (with a tiny bit of rebound) and the second was actual suspension."
Just that you get remarkably bitchy in a real hurry. Which would explain the time in the RX350's...
Ah, so it's 'murican perfermance or nothing. Duly noted.
Well, how about that? You learn something new every day. As I said, it's on KWV3s (with Pilot SuperSports), so your theory about the bushings being overworked makes the most sense with what I was experiencing.
Also, no need to be a sarcastic bitch. I'm assuming you own something GM and can see interpersonal communication isn't a strong point for you.

Yeah. He had the stability control in competition for a bit and was fighting to get a good line and AOA. Once he went to all-off the car seemed to handle better. It definitely was more tail happy and seemed more controllable from his reactions and steering inputs.
It was the double set on turn in. The car would lean and set once, then a split second later take a second, more solid set. Like the first one was bushings (with a tiny bit of rebound) and the second was actual suspension. Or body-frame motion, then suspension. Either way, I was pretty surprised by it. My friend is a…
Spot on. I went for a ride in my friend's C6 Z06 on KWs this weekend and was impressed by the stickiness, but nonplussed by the general sloppiness.
2.2% more power for free? Oh my GAWWWD!
Haha, I was like 24 oz what? Totally misread that. Need more coffee to clear the cobwebs today.
