i think they , like many companies, like to preserve cars as they came off the track. Lots of oil and rubber and grime on museum pieces in the auto world.

This is very true. That sort of failure rate on vehicles that move as little as once a year is crazy high. And, given the very low mileage RVs tend to rack up, it is totally likely that there are still 15+ year old G159s on motorhomes right now. If they were unsafe new, they definitely aren't going to improve with

The center-seat configuration is a great idea for safety and visibility, and that cab looks amazing. This is the first Tesla I’ve liked since the original Roadster.
