Cool story bro. I’ve owned older Supras, this is as much of a Supra as any other in purpose and level of performance.

Looks are subjective, but this looks better than Mk4 Supras too.

Shhhh... Optimism!

I want a Supra but won’t buy one until they make a 3 pedal version. They could have one sure sale! :P

When is the version with 3 pedals coming?

My point still stands. Pilots are adequately trained to handle issues though, do you really expect the average Joe to be? lolol no.

bingo.

Wait, you mean cars need automated safety systems like the ones on planes that just killed a bunch of innocent people because of lacking training (among other factors)? They were professionals too, you expect regular people on the street to handle the automation of their cars? They can’t even handle the systems we

As mentioned numerous times in the comments... It’s not carbed. It’s a throttle body that looks like a carb to make enforcing existing rules easier... and because traditionalists want it to look like the car in their driveway.

This isn’t exactly a surprise. Teased us with the IDx and then continued producing “average” vehicles anyway. None of their cars right now are bad but none are truly great.

I did say a manual swap is an option :)

Exactly my issue :(

I’m 6'4" and no I don't fit. Too tall :(

I’m 6'4" but a lot of legs. I fit in a Sera... Not comfortably but I fit.

The Sera wasn’t made with a manual, therefore it loses!

Yeah, manual swap it and then the Sera is likely the better car, even if it doesn’t have quite the charm of the even weirder AZ-1 styling... and I’d actually fit in a Sera, not so much an AZ-1.

For sure. What a pile of garbage.

I’m fairly sure this hideous pile of crap is actually the worst offender. They took a handsome looking car and ruined it with these hideous flat panels.

Generally speaking, just doing this thing they call “driving” which sums up being a gigantic dangerous waste of space on the road.

Totally understand. EPA needs to get their shit together and come up with a more meaningful test.

A “HUGE” increase that isn’t really there in the real world, from the sample size of folks I work with. EPA numbers are essentially meaningless when manufacturers are putting undersized turbo engines in that have to work way too hard, as proven by the post about GM’s V8 vs I4 truck.
