It doesn’t “need” the hoop wing.

“joy” is not the word I’d use.

Ah, makes sense. At my height I struggle with steering wheel adjustments in most vehicles but never had much issue in Tacomas.

I totally understand though, I specifically bought a 2019 Miata instead of an older one because I can’t fit in the older models because my knees attempt to occupy the same space as the steering

Part of the reason I dislike trucks & SUVs is the elevated seating position. I much prefer feeling like I’m connected to the vehicle and not sitting at a table at Golden Corral

Long legged 6'4" and it’s fine. *shrug*

I totally understand the dirty pants leg issue, but the seating position itself is fantastic for my tastes. No issue on many hour drives.

Lack of adjustability? I’m honestly not super familiar with the newest Tacomas and what adjustments they have for the wheel.

I learned how to drive on a first gen Taco (technically a “pickup”) and it was super easy to drive. I learned how to heel-toe on it :)

6'4" ~210 pounds.

I can see the concern with pants getting dirty from a muddy floor like the other commenter pointed out, but I’ve never had an issue.

I guess I’m weird for liking the Tacoma seating position.

When did they ever say they wanted this to be a high volume car? Besides, if you combine the sales figures from the BRZ & FR-S it’s been right there with the Miata if not outselling it.

Where are you pulling that from? The “mass market entry level sports coupes” bit, I mean.

Since when were the Toyobaru twins relative failures? They must be selling well enough or they wouldn’t continue updating and selling them.

Are they going to fix all of the Camaros and other “performance” cars that have had airbags go off for no good reason next?

Still ugly, haha

I hadn’t seen the “in the flesh” Mustang Supercar before... now I wish I hadn’t. That wing is an abomination and the whole thing looks mis-shapen and not at all shaped like a Mustang. Looks way too tall for how short it looks, what the heck is going on there?

Rod knock. Absolutely nothing is scarier.

I recently read that in most European countries you now default to being an organ donor and you have to opt-out. Suddenly organ donation rates went way up.

So people were either really lazy and didn’t sign up for it before or people just haven’t realized they’re now defaulted to saving lives with their organs...

When it’s closed it looks like a buttplug....
